Glencar Celtic 2–3 Drumbar United
After a short break, Drumbar United returned to league action at the Aura Centre, Letterkenny, this afternoon.
After an evenly balanced opening period, Oisin Ebbs produced a moment of magic on the half-hour mark, cutting in from the left and finding the top corner to put the away side 1-0 up. Drumbar’s lead was doubled on the stroke of half-time when Adam Gillespie finished off a free-flowing team move involving Paul Lagan, Andrew Monaghan, Vincent Breslin and Oisin Ebbs.
Glencar, with the wind at their backs, responded with two quick-fire goals in the early stages of the second half.
Just when it looked like the points would be shared, Eoghan Gallagher rampaged down the right wing, skipping past numerous challenges. He unselfishly fired the ball across the goal for Oisin Ebbs to tap home for his second of the day to secure the win.
A battling performance today and a hard-earned three points.
Well done lads. Onto the next one ![]()
