Oldtown Celtic 0-1 Drumbar United

In the final game of the league season, Drumbar United edged past Oldtown Celtic at the Aura Centre, Letterkenny.

After a cagey opening spell, Drumbar broke the deadlock just after the half-hour mark. A superb through ball from Paul Lagan found Odhran Meehan, who squared for Andrew Monahan to slot home.

Both sides created chances in the second half, with Drumbar coming close to extending their lead through Ríon Carr, Daniel Bennett, and Oisín Ebbs. However, the lads remained solid at the back and saw out the win.

A team effort from all involved today. The win leaves Drumbar in 4th place in the 10-team league standings after what has been an extremely competitive Division 1 campaign.

The lads now look forward to the Semi Final of the Voodoo Venue Cup, once again against Oldtown Celtic, next weekend.

Well done lads. Onto the next one
