In one of the most exciting developments in recent club history, we are delighted to announce that our Drumbar United U14 Girls team will be travelling to Barcelona, Spain this autumn to compete in the ‘Football Cup Barcelona’.

The Football Cup Barcelona is one of Europe’s premier international youth football tournaments, bringing together grassroots clubs from across the world for a memorable week of football, friendship and cultural exchange. Hosted on outstanding facilities on Spain’s Costa Dorada, the tournament offers players the opportunity to compete against international opposition while enjoying an unforgettable team experience both on and off the pitch.

This is a fantastic opportunity and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a wonderful group of girls who have shown tremendous commitment, dedication and passion for the game. They will proudly represent Drumbar United, their families and our local community on the European stage and we have no doubt they’ll do the whole club proud.

As you can imagine, a trip like this comes with significant costs. In order to ensure that we can make this dream a reality for every player, we have launched an iDonate crowdfunder for the trip, and will continue to raise funds via sponsorship and voluntary donations over the coming months.
